Hi,
I am a bit unsure regarding the correct usage of SAN V12 magnum, the label indicates that it must be consume before/during and after workouts, does it mean I need to consume 3 individual servings of 8oz each? I was thinking of starting with only 1 serving (1 scoop of 8oz) before workouts for at least the first week and then increase it, but I am still not sure if I should take 3 individual servings as the label also indicates not to consume more than 4 scoops in 24 hours and for how long should I carry on using V12? Should I stop after a couple of months? When could I restart?
Regards,
Ruben

Hello Ruben,

My question to you,

A) Is this the first time you have used a creatine containing product?

If yes, then start off with 1 scoop(1/2 serving) 30 minutes for the first 2-3 times before your workout in order to assess effects. Even though Magnum V12 does not have any caffeine, it does have nootropics(cognitive enhancers) ingredients.

If everything is fine, then I suggest you move on the full serving and consume in this manner:
1. Consume 1 scoop(1/2 serving) 30 minutes before your workout.
2. Consume another scoop(1/2 serving) during your workout, i.e. start sipping during the beginning and finish it 3/4 into your workout.

Take 1 serving(2 scoops) of Magnum V-12 everyday for the first 2 weeks(for saturation of muscles), after that consume 1 serving only on workout days. For example

Week 1: 1 serving(2 scoops) on workout and rest days
Week 2: 1 serving(2 scoops) on workout and rest days
Week 3: 1 serving(2 scoops) on workout days only
Week 4: 1 serving(2 scoops) on workout days only

*On your rest days you can take Magnum V-12 in the morning or after your cardio session.

B) If you have been taking creatine containing on a consistent basis, then you only need to consume Magnum V-12 on workout days.

1. Consume 1 scoop(1/2 serving) 30 minutes before your workout.
2. Consume another scoop(1/2 serving) during your workout, i.e. start sipping during the beginning and finish it 3/4 into your workout.

Week 1: 1 serving(2 scoops) on workout days only
Week 2: 1 serving(2 scoops) on workout days only
Week 3: 1 serving(2 scoops) on workout days only
Week 4: 1 serving(2 scoops) on workout days only

For the how long you can take it, I suggest taking V-12 Magnum for 6-8 weeks, then take 3-4 weeks off. Then you can start again.

Here is our label

Thank you for giving Magnum V-12 a try, if you any other questions please let us know. :)

Many thanks for the detailed information. I have started the suggested servings and is going well so far. At the moment the only supplement I am taking is V12 magnum, could I please ask you if you will advice me to combine it with other products to enhance performance? I usually go to the gym 3 times a day and do 30 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of weights, the v12 makes me pretty energetic during my workout but I feel pretty tired after my workout and my muscles take a couple of days to recover. I have been adviced to consume glutamine and whey protein before my workout and whey protein after my workout to be added with V12, I was thinking of purchasing Fierce and Infusion, I would like to know if it is advisable (safe) to combine those supplements and if that is the case how would I add them to my routine.
Regards,
Ruben

Magnum V12 has a decent amount of BCAA's for recovery, I would ask you if your protein intake is at least at 1 gram per pound? i.e. 150 pounds = 150 grams of protein

Fierce is a pre-workout product that contains creatine, N.O. ingredients, endurance and stimulant blend. I would not combine Magnum and Fierce, not the best way to use them.

Infusion would be an excellent product to take as any of your 5-6 meals.

I would go for a regular whey protein with some carbs or something along the lines of Myojuiced or Myodrive for your post-workout shake.

What are your goals? Are you trying to gain mass, lose fat?

Hi,
My protein intake is not as high as 1 gram per pound at the moment. My goal is to reduce some body fat and tone my body. How would you recommend Infusion in my daily routine? Again many thanks for the previous feedback, I have been following the advice on the dosage of the V12 and I have not experience any problems so far, after the first 2 weeks I feel I can lift more weight and improve my endurance,it is a great product.
Regards,
Ruben

I honestly would stick to at least 1 gram per pound in order to preserve lean body mass. Infusion can be used as a pre-bed shake or to replace one of your 5-6 meals. I use it for breakfast when I am on the run.

Generally speaking people can follow this as a starting point for losing body weight.

Maintenance
15 x your weight(lbs.) = calories per day
for example:
15 x 150lbs = 2250 calories per day to stay at current weight
If you are trying to lose weight and 1 pound of fat = 3500 calories, you then decrease 500 calories from your maintenance intake.

i.e. 2250 calories - 500 calories = 1750 calories per day for fat loss

You then can follow a basic 40% protein/40% carbs/20% fat macronutrient profile. So

PROTEIN: 1750 calories * 40%(.4) = 700 calories / 4 grams = 175 grams
CARBS: 1750 calories * 30%(.3) = 525 calories / 4 grams = 131 grams
FAT: 1750 calories * 30%(.3) = 525 calories / 9 grams = 58 grams

You weigh yourself before starting in the morning then after 7 days, weigh yourself again.

1) If you have lost 1-2 pounds then stay on the calorie intake you current are on.

2) If you have stayed the same, then add additional cardiovascular activities.

3) If you have gained weight, then reduce 250 calories daily and add additional cardiovascular activities.

V12 is def a great product and I have been right before my HIT workouts and its been keeping me focused and doesnt give me the jitters like so many caffeine loaded products that there out there.

I will be posting some before and after shots on my blog for you all to see as I am getting ready to celebrate my 40th birthday this june and want to be in the most ripped and muscualr shape of my life so far!

I will be using V12 (pre-workout), L-glutamine/BCAA (recovery) as well as TIGH EXTREME during my entire prep and will post pics right here in the forums and blog (video and pics) so stay tuned - currently 228lbs and rather soft...but that will change fast!

Thias is a great post. Only one thing to add...make sure your carbs are low clycemic - you do not want to spike your insulin much. Insulin seems to be a main blocker when it comes to trying to release bodyfat while dieting...even on a calorie restricted diet. I love INFUSION since it is very low in sugar for that purpose...keep your carbs in check and make sure to eat stuff thats unprocessed.
